Making spirituality cool to a whole new generation...

While many of the older Buddhist teachers have been infuenced by the Hippy Culture of the 60's and 70's, we focus on empowering today's generations with a cool and yet credible, authentic and yet applicable approach to the Dharma. Furthermore, while many older Buddhist authors advised us to "not even call yourself a Buddhist", we believe in being proud of one's Buddhist heritage just as today African Americans are proud of their identity and Gay Pride is taking the world by storm. Also, today Japanese culture with its emphasis on the Samurai and Ninja, Manga and Harijuku is considered uber-cool and therefore we use the Japanese Buddhist prototype to show that the Dharma does not have to be dry and boring. Using Samurai and Shaolin analogies, highlighting how Buddhism is the only religion to not spread by war and to promote equal rights for all including women, gays, minorities and non-believers; as Kannon the Almighty God is both male and female, beyond gender and ethnicity to be truly universal without judgment and as Yoga and Meditation do really have proven benefits, we are helping a whole new generation turn to spirituality and the Code of Honorable Karma in growing numbers.
